<snipped from a post
on the Cry Havok guild forums>
Due to the complete and total equity of this system, ALLIED members will move up and down the SK rankings in EXACTLY the same manner as CH members.
Rules for 20+ man raids…
Rule # 1. Declare your main, and your spec (for determining loot ratings for you specifically)
Rule # 2. Understand how OUR VERSION of Suicide Kings works…
Step 1… We determine a starting point.
We established our first list on Friday November 3rd. From here on out new members of the raid will be added to the bottom of the list.
Step 2… We raid!!! Any 20+ man instance will use our Loot order and the SK system to determine the Loot order for THIS raid.
Step 3… We kill!!! We kill a boss… He has loot… We determine who is eligible for this loot! Check the list on the website...
...and if your Class/Build has 3+ stars, your eligible! Send a tell to the raid leader quick!!!
Step 4… We will look at the list. If an item is warrior only, it goes to the highest eligible warrior on the list if he wants it. If he doesn’t it passes to the next so on and so forth. The item will be assigned to the HIGHEST ranked qualifier who doesn’t pass… And that player drops to the bottom of the list! If the item is an INT caster item… Then ALL CASTER Class/Spec can roll… This means NO FERAL DRUIDS OR DPS PALADINS… If everyone rated 3+ stars passes, then it is available for 1 and 2 star players. The item will be assigned to the HIGHEST ranked qualifier who doesn’t pass… And that player drops to the bottom of the list!
If you miss a raid, your spot is saved. You are ignored for the purposes of this raid. If you miss 5+ raids in a row, you may be moved down the list.
1) Initial place in the list is random. Nothing anyone can do about that. Some will be lucky; others not. (This initial placement has been done by the first raid under the SK system)
2) If you don't raid, you don't go up in the list. Seems fair.
3) If you don't raid, you don't go DOWN in the list. Seems casual-friendly, and non-DKP-like.
4) If you already have l33t gear, you might not be getting many items, but when an item comes you really want, you can probably get it.
5) If you raid regularly, you'll either a) get a number of mid-grade upgrades or
b) get higher in the list to position yourself for a big upgrade, but probably not both.
6) If you don't raid regularly, initially you may just get items that people pass down to you. So, either mid-grade gear that's still an upgrade for you, or good/great gear that others of your type
(warrior, caster, healer, etc) already have or already have better.
7) In ALL CASES, if something's a big upgrade for you, or you really like the color, or you've always wanted a particular item, speak up, and it just might be passed down to you, because we're all pretty nice folks here.
Coins & Bijous & Scarabs etc…
All of these items are to be turned in to the guild bank so we can distribute them to those closest to finishing faction quests etc…
If you need them, please post to the board under the guild banks section what you need, what faction you have and what quest or recipe you are after.
Bind on Equip Weapons & Armor - All GREED, call upgrade if necessary.
Bind on Pickup - All
PASS
Our modified Suicide Kings loot allocation system will be used to determine those eligible.
If your designated class/build is ranked 3 or higher stars you will be eligible for an item. You will submit your name to the officers, and they will use the SK allocation system to determine the winner.
Rep Items
BoE items that require reputation (such as the Primal Hakkari pieces) should only be requested if - 1) have the faction required to turn that item in - 2) are within 2k points of being able to turn it in or 3) attend enough of that particular instance that it is possible you will have enough rep points to turn the item in within the next 3 months. If you do not qualify for the item they will be dusted for the guild bank (if applicable).
Tradeskills on Guild Runs
All resources gained in instances are donated to the bank and distributed among members that need them, with the exception of reserved items (see below).
Herbalism - only members that have the Blood Scythe shall pick any flowers inside ZG - if there are more than one Scythe holder present - they will roll at the beginning of the raid. Bloodvines will go to the guild bank.
Mining - Miners may roll on the mines, however, all high-end tradeskill items (arcane crystals, soulderite, tc) will go to the bank.
Skinning - A skinner will be assigned at the beginning of the raid, however, all high end leathers will go to the bank.
Class Set Armor
SK will be in effect for people who do not yet have their class set items
PASS if it is not for your set
Unused BoE Class Set armor will be stored in the Guild Bank for up-coming members
Unused BoP Class Set armour will be sharded for the bank
(Blueprints) Plans, Schematics, Recipes, Librams & Components,
etc.
PASS ON BOP!!!
BOP recipes, etc will be rolled for after qualifications are determined.
For BOE
GREED if your current character can use. You may not roll for an alt.
Pass if you cannot use.
Unwanted BOE blueprints, extra librams, etc. will be donated to Cry Havok's banks.
Trial Members
Trial members will not be allowed to roll on BoP items that are upgrades for full members, special resources, or specialty drops (e.g. righteous orbs, Darkmoon Faire cards, etc.) until they have been in the guild for two weeks or have attended three guild-sanctioned raids.
Allied Raids
Allied raid loot rules will be discussed among the allied reps prior to the event.
*IMPORTANT NOTE*
If you go AFK immediately after a boss is killed, don't expect to be waited on for the assignments to happen. The
Raidleader has way too much going on to notice who is there and who isn't. Once the item is called, assignments are made, that's it. No whining, no complaining. There will always be more loot. If you want a chance at it, don't make yourself undesirable for invitations.
